AWS Training Courses [Post-Purchase]

Simply log-in and navigate to “My Courses” in the upper left corner. That’s where you’ll find all of your training courses. 

You’ll find the link for the course downloads in the last lecture of section 1 titled “Course Download”.

Practice questions are presented in four modes to assist with learning (described below). Upon finishing an exam, you will receive a pass/fail notification along with your total score and the count of correct responses.

Exam Mode: In exam simulation mode, you complete one full-length practice exam and answer all questions within the allotted time. The practice exam has the same format, style, time limit and passing score as the real AWS exam. Each exam contains unique questions.

Training Mode: When taking the practice exam in training mode, you will be shown the answers and explanations for every question after clicking “submit”. These practice exams contain the same unique questions as the corresponding exam in exam mode.

Knowledge Reviews: Having identified your strengths and weaknesses, you get to dive deep into specific areas with our knowledge reviews. You are presented with a series of questions focussed on a specific knowledge area. There is no time limit and you can view the answer to each question as you go through them.

Final Exam Simulator: The exam simulator randomly selects questions from our pool of unique practice questions for each AWS exam – mimicking the real AWS exam environment. These practice exams have the same format, style, time limit and passing score as the real AWS exam.

Yes, you can. When taking the practice exam in training mode, you will be shown the answers and explanations for every question after clicking “check”. The same applies to the knowledge reviews where you are presented with a series of questions on a specific topic.

To review questions at the end of a practice exam, choose “Review questions”.

Technical Questions

AWS are making constant, usually minor, changes to the UI. We do our best to keep our videos up to date but sometimes there will be some differences in what you see due to the pace of change. Most of the time the changes are minor and you can work around them. If there are major changes please let us know and we’ll update the video.

Please use either an SSH tool or the Putty tool. For connecting. Please use this AWS article for instructions.

Please follow the instructions in this AWS article for your operating system.

Please make sure you’re using the latest code from the course download. Make sure you’re copying the code exactly including all formatting and line breaks.

Also, check the following (where applicable):

  • Ensure you have a role that provides S3 read access
  • Check the S3 path/file specified exists and is accessible
  • The EC2 instance has a security group assigned that allows HTTP inbound on port 80 or 443 from any source (0.0.0.0/0)
  • The EC2 instance has a public IP or has access to a NAT Gateway (if in a private subnet)

Check the following:

–  The user data (if applicable) has run correctly – login to EC2 and check that Apache is running and the /var/www/html directory has an index.html file

– The security group for EC2 and ELB is setup correctly to allow the relevant ports and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS)

– The health check configuration is configured correctly with port / protocol / path – try removing the path so it’s just a slash, e.g. /

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Exam

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

Yes, you can. Though it may be advisable to start with the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, many students start their certification journey with the AWS Solutions Architect Associate. We’ve had many students pass who don’t have any real-world AWS experience.

There are no prerequisites for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate training. However, to make the most from these courses, basic knowledge of cloud computing / networking concepts and experience with AWS is recommended. We also advise our students to create an AWS free-tier account to follow along with the practical exercises. We will show you how to set it up in the beginning of the course.

We regularly update the content of these training courses to reflect the latest AWS changes. 

All questions are scenario-based and conform to the official AWS format (1 answer from 4 options, or 2 answers from 5 options)

When taking the practice exams in “training mode” you can check every answer and explanation as you go through the questions.

AWS Certified Developer Associate Exam

AWS Certified Developer Associate

You do not need to have a development or programming background to do this course or pass the exam. Everything you need to know is within the course. For the AWS Developer Associate exam you need to be able to read some simple code snippets but don’t need to be able to write code.

There are no prerequisites for taking the AWS Developer Associate exam. You can sign-up for this certification straight away if you like. No need to take any of the other AWS certification exams first.

All code is supplied in the course download that can be accessed using the link in the last lecture of section 1 titled “Course Download”.

The Developer Associate training is suitable for

  • Students preparing for the AWS Certified Developer exam who want to pass with confidence at the first attempt
  • IT Professionals who want to become qualified AWS Developers and enter any AWS technical job interview with confidence
  • Anyone who is keen to take their cloud career and salary to the next level with an AWS certification

This AWS Developer training is highly suitable for intermediate to advanced students. While AWS or programming experience may be useful, it is NOT a prerequisite to enroll in this training as you’ll have access to everything you need to succeed.

The AWS Certified Developer Associate certification is one of the most sought-after certifications in the cloud computing industry. AWS Cloud Developers are in huge demand and salaries can be above $150,000 USD per annum. The AWS Certified Developer exam aims to test knowledge of the key services and tools used by developers creating applications on AWS.

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate Exam

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate
The AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate certification is considered to be the hardest of the Associate level AWS certifications to attain. This certification shows a solid understanding of how to deploy, manage and operate systems running on AWS.
 
Through this training, you’ll gain valuable skills to showcase to potential employers and will be able to easily pass your exam on your first attempt.

There are no prerequisites for taking the AWS SysOps Administrator exam. So you can sign-up for this certification straight away if you like. However, it is highly recommended to take the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam first – and then build upon that knowledge.

It is recommended to have completed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or the AWS Certified Developer Associate training course or have equivalent experience with AWS.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Exam

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
We recommend that you have passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate exam or have similar experience. Even better if you  have earned all Associate level certifications before attempting the Professional level as it will give you a broader foundation of knowledge.

There are no prerequisites for taking the AWS Solutions Architect Professional exam. You can sign-up for this certification straight away if you like.

We include guided hands-on exercises that you can complete in your own AWS free tier account. A multi-account structure is used to simulate real-world scenarios that come up in the exam.
 

Assuming you have recently completed the Associate certifications you should be able to study for and complete your CSA Pro exam within 4-8 weeks of additional study time.

We also recommend taking our practice tests to become competent with answering exam-style questions.

The SAP-C02 exam consists of multiple choice questions. You are presented with 75 questions which you must complete within 180 minutes. The pass mark is 75%.

The questions can be long and complex and often include solutions with multiple services and also multiple account structures. This is a difficult exam that requires candidates to have a strong working knowledge of a broad set of AWS services.
